MMCA appoints to industry benefit funds, apprenticeship committees, industry boards and relevant government bodies. Being involved with the association means being a part of the future of the industry.
MMCA hosts a winter membership meeting where the installation of officers takes place and members are able to socialize. MMCA also partners with the local plumbers & pipefitters unions to donate plumbing & heating inspections to eligible homeowners twice a year. Members are also invited to participate in Brewing Discussion - social events where the next generation of leaders can learn about the industry and make connections.
MMCA is invested in the betterment of the industry. The Association supports and believes in joint apprenticeship programs, encourages a strong future workforce by supporting the Construction Careers Foundation and supports local technical colleges through scholarships & advisory positions.
MMCA offers 20+ trainings a year tailored to the mechanical contracting industry. From leadership training for project managers & foremen to info-sessions on upcoming issues affecting contractors and brushing up or learning new technology. MMCA's comprehensive education program addresses subjects important to owners, project managers, office staff & field employees.
